Made from our signature “high rye” recipe and the marriage of select barrels carefully chosen by our Master Distiller, 1792 Bourbon has an expressive and elegant flavor profile. 1792 Bourbon, formerly known as Ridgewood Reserve 1792 and 1792 Ridgemont Reserve, is a Kentucky straight Bourbon whiskey produced by the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The brand and distillery have been owned by the Sazerac Company since 2009. It is part of a line of small-batch bourbons aimed at the high-end liquor market. Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2020 named our 1792 Full Proof Bourbon the World Whiskey of the Year. It’s not hard to rise to the top when you start with impeccable taste.

The first barrels of whiskey were rolled into this warehouse on Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021. This Kentucky straight bourbon is produced at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown. Crafted with a high rye recipe, individual barrels deemed to be exceptional are selected from the warehouses and bottled one by one to preserve their unique qualities.
